These are some web 2.0 sites I found that will be useful for teaching.

http://www.gliffy.com/ This site allows me to create flow charts, floor plans and much more.

I think that this site is more useful for teachers than students but I could see using it to help students organize a brainstorming session in writer's or reader's workshop.

http://sites.google.com/site/mrwrightsclass/ This is a simple website builder that would allow me to share information with students and parents. I'm finding that google sites force you to use other google sites for video such as youtube. If you conform to using google for all your applications I think the sites would be very useful. I like the flexibility in chosing who has access to the site you create. My biggest concern about using websites for the class is the risks involved with puting class pictures and video on the web. I'm worried about breaking any privacy laws or simply offending students and parents that don't want their pictures on the internet.
